Video transcript:

This is a guest room that was used just yesterday, so that’s super fun. It’s glad to know as an architect when you design something that it’s actually getting used. Because we knew the primary function of this space wouldn’t be for sleeping, what we designed was a murphy bed.

And so the mattress that you see here, pillows can be stored in the closet, everything flips up. And when it’s up, you have a really, really wide space. And this is really a room that’s for stretching, for yoga. It’s just another space that you can come to and have peace and quiet.

There’s a pocket door here that closes it off so then you can have privacy if it’s a bedroom or if you’re in here meditating. And we hung these really cool lights from Visual Comfort that give this incredible shadow. It was a complete happy accident. I was not expecting it. And you know, sometimes that can go one way or the other. In this particular case, I just really love it and so does the owner.
