Our architects were able to work with these exceptional homeowners to recreate the comfortable feel of the original house that used to sit on the property, while making it new, airtight and as eco-friendly as possible.

Betsy Landes and Barry Levenstam, and we lived on this property for 28 years and then had our house deconstructed through Scott Simpson and associates. Then we built this new house and we’re thrilled. I love the openness and yet it feels traditional. We were able to recreate the feel of our old house, which has arts and crafts details inside. We recreated stairs. The woodwork in general has the same feel, which I love, and yet everything’s new and it’s airtight and we’re not going to be wasting energy heating it the way we did the old house. Having everything new and yet having everything feel old and comfortable is just what we wanted. They were wonderful to work with and we’re so happy with the result.
