Glencoe residents Bob and Barb Davis fell for each other one tune at a time, singing together in choir and in the theater, where they once performed a resounding duet of the classic 1958 chart-topper “All I Have to Do Is Dream” by The Everly Brothers while she played the piano. “That’s how it all started,” Barb says. In 2008, they married, creating a blended family.

When the couple decided to build a brand-new house on a Glencoe lot in 2016, they turned to builder Scott Simpson, firm architect Amy Mangold and interior designer Jeannie Balsam (jeanniebalsam. com) to make it a reality…
