Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about my family and my friends. And for us at SSDB, that extends to our team and all of the amazing people that make designing and building our homes possible – especially our clients.
Many people are saying these days that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it’s not remarkable or newsworthy, but it’s always there – coworkers, family members, clients, pets, new friends, old friends.
When the news of the world feels overwhelming, the people in my life have never failed to help me stay positive, keep things in perspective and build hope for the future. I am so grateful to them for their commitment and their energy and their love.
And if you look for it, I’ve got a sneaking suspicion…love actually is all around.
