We’re in a house here in Highland Park. This is about a 5,600 square foot new build. Here we are in the basement, and what we’re designing here is a hockey room. The young boy who’s gonna live here is obsessed with hockey, so they’re gonna put down synthetic ice down here. We’re gonna put high-impact drywall. The goal is gonna go over here in this little bump out. We’re trying to figure out if we need to put PVC paneling, some kind of plywood, something to protect this wall, because we know the slap shots are coming and we want to protect our wall. Over here in the corner, you can see a window framed out. This is a viewing window that’s actually into the exercise room. So, the boy can be in here exercising, getting his skill in hockey, while mom and dad can be in on the heavy bag or the bike or the Peloton, kind of working out together but still separate. This is the studio. This is for their daughter to be creative, to do whatever she wants, to sing, to dance, to paint. This is her studio.

This is bed five. We’re in the basement. The intention here, and it has been drawn, designed, priced, we’re in the process of getting it all going, is a bunk room. This is one of those, you know, built-in and integral where the stairs are also a shelf that go up to the second bunk. There’s a couple of sconces. So, this is going to be a kid’s suite for when the entire family is here for big holiday parties and weekends.

All right, that’s all I have for today, but drywall stock in the next two weeks. So, we’ve got another video coming soon. This place is going to look different. We’re happy to see you next time.
