In the library, the homeowner really just had this vision of calm, peaceful, somewhere you can come, read a book, do homework. Here we are with full custom cabinetry around the doors, around the windows, around the bay over here, which has yet to get paneled, will get painted to match. They have a record player that’s going to sit on one of these shelves. This is just going to be a place for them to kind of relax and hang out.
Again, full custom cabinetry. So, part of that comes with challenges. So, the homeowner has some books and stuff they’d like to display. So, we have these beautiful, sloped shelves that have a little bit of sawdust on them. So, you come in here and you get your pegs set. Everything is fine and dandy – beautiful, sloped. Unfortunately, we have a shelf that’s been designed without a way to catch the front peg. So, we’ve got a little bit of a challenge here. It’s nothing we can’t overcome and haven’t done before, but there is going to be a call to the cabin maker to see what we can do here. Maybe it’s a clip in the front that you can’t see. Maybe it’s something that gets routed into the edge of the cabin right here. We’ll see what we do here, but it’ll be beautiful when we do find a solution.
So Sarah, the architect on this job, has specified a specific track for this pocket door. It allows both doors to move while only operating one. So, you can pull this door and the door slides with it. And same here.
