So, here we are in bath four. This is the shower. And you can see this red material. This is actually called RedGard. It waterproofs the Durock that creates the backing for the tile. So, this is fully waterproof all the way up to the ceiling, down to your shower pan. So, if any tile does have any sort of failure or any water does get behind that tile, then it actually does still go into your drain. It doesn’t leak down to the floor below.
