“Non-profit IMPACT Northbrook and Scott Simpson Design + Build (SSDB) joined 501c3 Special Spaces designer Meg Meek (all of Northbrook) to create a dream room for a child in Lindenhurst undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. On March 7, Westen’s bedroom was transformed into a space to escape the challenges of a family going through a difficult diagnosis and treatment. The room was transformed all in one day and was revealed to Westen when he returned home after nearly 50 days in the hospital.”
